YUM!! just made...

about 4 dozen stuffed shells!
my room mate in college was really into cooking and taught me this trick... when you have some time one day, make stuffed shells. just boil the shells, and stuff them with the cheese stuffing recipe on the side of the box.. DO NOT BAKE THEM, and don't put any sauce on them.... just stuff them and put them in a tupperware in the freezer.
THEN, weeks later, one night after a LONG day at work and you don't feel like cooking, just take out some of the shells, put them in a baking dish with some sauce and throw them in the oven! its a great way to cut down on doing all the work to make them at once, AND you get 3 or 4 dinners out of it!
just thought i'd share Chat Icon

LOL yup! i have a lot of those! somebody told me before i got married that ther advice for cooking was " use your freezer!" LOL stock up on meat and freeze it, make a big thing of stew in the crockpot and freeze it for later... all kinds of stuff! its the best when you don't feel like cooking at the end of the day and just have to take something out and throw it in the oven Chat Icon

Oh yes, I do this all the time. Works for just about everything. I do it with sausage and peppers (yum), homemade sauce, eggplant parm (hmm...how did you know I was Italian?)
