Zofran Ladies
So being that at 18 weeks I continue to lose weight I have a feeling they are going to put me on meds.
Did you take the zofran only when you started to feel sick or was it like a once or twice a day thing?
Are the pills covered by insurance?

Re: Zofran Ladies
My pills were covered by insurance.
I took one every day for the first 25 weeks of my pregnancy b/c I was sick all the time.
Feel better.

Re: Zofran Ladies
My insurance covered my Zofran too. It was $25 copay for 30 pills. They cost $885 or so without insurance
Anyway, my prescription reads to take them every six hours. I only take them then I need to. I am down to once a day (I am 18 weeks, 4 days) and but if I am off them for more than 24 hours I can feel it and end up vomitting again.

Re: Zofran Ladies
Jen, I think you know Itookk the Zofran (it didn't work for me, but that is because of my situation). Zofran works for a lot of woman and is a miracle drug for them so it's ok to take. I took it as needed as my friends did as well. I got 30 pills for $30 with blue cross coverage. The pills are extrememly pricey so check your coverage first.
did you try phenogran (so) or reglan?

Re: Zofran Ladies
Zofran is covered by insurance - it worked like a charm for me - I still needed it at 18 wks even though I did begin to put on weight - I think I was finally phasing it out at around that time - good luck - it will do wonders for you!!!

I also took phenogren too. When my ins wasn't covering a refill of Zofran. My doctor said it would make me sleepy and it did. I could only take it before bed.
