Zyrtec
i was just informed by my health insurance company that Zyrtec is now going to be available over the counter starting january 24th, 2008. no prescription needed anymore. Thank goodness. i live on that during allergy season.

It will be over the counter and there is a more improved one that will be in perscription form still. My SIL is a drug rep for Zyrtec

Most allergy pills, when they become OTC become more expensive for most people who have insurance. It kinda ***** but I am glad not to have to go to a doctor for allergy pills. Will the Zyrtec OTC be the same dose as the current Rx one?

The rep in my office said it was going to be $28 for like 10 pills I suffer from allergies myself and the replacement Xyzal was actually better for me. It didnt make me tired or drowsy at all like Zyrtec does sometimes.
