Has anyone been to a nail salon since repopening?
I am debating whether to get a pedicure. Just not sure if I should.

Has anyone been to a nail salon since repopening?
Went yesterday for a mani & pedi. It was great! Temperature check when entering. Plexiglass partitions at every mani and pedi station. Only every other station being used. Everyone was wearing a mask (and I have to say, it really didn't bother me - the pedicure was soooo relaxing, I "almost" forgot it was on) and some of the workers also had face shields on. Everything was being wiped down between customers. I didn't feel uncomfortable at all

I had uv gel manicure and pedicure and exactly the same as chilltocam said. Getting my nails finally done was so much better than finally getting my hair done.

Yes. Went on Wednesday. My nail salon had every mani & pedi chair divided up by hanging clear "curtains" and in the mani chairs there was a divider between the customer and the worker.
The workers wore scrubs (?), masks, face shields and shower caps. The moment you walked in they put sanitizer on your hands before you picked your color. Prices did not change.
It was great. Can't wait to go back.
ETA: There was a notice on the door saying the workers have been tested and will be tested every 2 weeks.

Honestly it sounds safer than shopping in Target or the supermarket.
If I were able to get pedicures or I did't do my own nails, I'd have no issue going.

Has anyone been to a nail salon since repopening?
I went yesterday - it was great! I just got a pedi but, there was plexiglass in front of me and on each side. I had to apply hand sanitizer upon entry.

got back a little while ago. It was WONDERFUL!!! Plexiglass and clear plastic dividers (shower curtains) hanging everywhere. Only every other chair is occupied. Hand sanitizer everywhere.
I felt totally safe and I feel like a human being again.

Has anyone been to a nail salon since repopening?
I went today and honestly, I didn't love the experience. They had the plexiglass and the ladies who do nails (it's a full service salon so they do hair, too) were wearing masks. Most customers had their masks by their chins and so did some of the hairstylists. The woman who does my nails said a lot of her clients have been trying to take the masks off and it infuriates her. I don't know how many people were allowed at once but it was fairly crowded.
I'm fairly lax (I sent my DD back to daycare and I've been back at work for weeks) and even I was pretty appalled at the situation.

I am OOS but this was my exact experience today. I was so pleasantly surprised at how well they seemed to handle/institute all the precautions.
The owner told me they had NO customers yesterday and I was only the third today (around 2pm). I feel terrible for some of these places.
It absolutely felt safer than target, grocery stores, cvs, etc.
