Putting in pool- pool recommendation please
If you recently put in a pool and was happy with the pool company, please recommend them. I’m looking to get quotes (located in Suffolk). TIA

We used Spechtacular.....very happy with them.
I believe they are a vendor on here.
We got many quotes, and felt very comfortable with them the minute they sat down with us.

I used Modern Comfort for install and liner replacement 12 years later and was very happy when them both times

We used John Joseph Pools in Smithtown
We already had an unground pool but half of it was damaged. They came in and basically rebuilt that side and new stairs. They didn't try selling us on a whole new pool. Which we really appreciated. Came out fantastic. We were very happy with their work and service.
ETS this was about 8-9 yrs ago.

I'm using Specht-actular now. We are almost done. I highly recommend them. Their entire staff has been above board professional and, what I am most impressed by, is the communication is excellent. There are no shenanigans. They tell me EXACTLY what is happening and when it's going to happen. The crews have all been knowledgeable and fantastic. In the beginning I was worked up because I felt like we were raked over the coals a little bit but I don't feel that way now. I know we are getting exactly what we are paying for.

In that case, I also really liked James Joseph in Smithtown. He constructs the pool similar. I also liked LI Pool and Patio a lot. He does steel wall pools. My friends are using Dakota and are happy.
I did not like South Shore. The guy I met with was a moody, misogynist jerk.

Really? They were coming in about $10K less than the concretes for me.

We just started construction on our pool today! We are using Platinum Site Development. We received quotes from alot of companies including specht-tacular pools and LI pool & patio.
I did not like LI Pool & Patio. They switched sales people on us and I didn't like who we were dealing with. He was very rude.
So far everything has been smooth with Platinum.

Really? They were coming in about $10K less than the concretes for me.
They must have come down in price. WE got a quote when they were just new to them. This was years ago.

I don’t have any recs but as for the timeline I know of lots of people that are saying this and next summer are already booked for installs.

We went with Swim Kings, we put the permit in 1st week of March, got permit 3 week of April and pool was complete by Memorial Day. Great service and contractors. I know they are booked into next year as well.

We just got our pool installed this year and used True Blue pools in Dix Hills. We were happy with them. I'm hearing that places are booked for a while now so I'd start looking ASAP.
