Help with finding something....
Looking for some creative thinkers and shoppers...
Need a plastic box, somewhere between 2 and 3 inches tall. The box itself needs to be on the larger side, maybe 12x18 or larger.
I can't find anything that is that shallow. I looked at underbed storage boxes and wrapping paper storage, they are all 5 or 6 inches tall. Plastic boot trays are a good size, but only an inch deep (that i've seen).
Does anyone have any ideas of products that would be close?
TIA!

Does it have to be plastic? That sounds easy to build out of plywood.

Look at craft storage options at Michaels. I think a lot of those items come with removable inserts.

Agreed. Definitely Michael's.
Also, the container store? They've got literally every kind of box you could want.

i've been binging The Home Edit on Netflix and was about to mention the container store!
from what i've been seeing, they seem to have everything you can imagine.

Re: Help with finding something....
document archival boxes are that size, but not plastic museum storage box
or if you don't need a lid tote tray
or tote trays 2
if none of those work, look at Blick or other art supply sites. They may have more of what you are looking for than a home store would.[

It needs to hold liquid and I can't use metal. So plastic was all I could come up with.

I checked Michaels, Joann, Container store and everything with the low height doesn't have the depth or width needed.

If you’re still looking, try a developing tray like this link
