Dr. Meltzer or Dr. Gnadt (Eye Vision Associates)
Does anyone have any experience with this optometrist's office in Nesconset?
We are looking for a place somewhat local to take DD for vision therapy.

I've been going to them for many years. DW and I use Dr. Protosow. DS and DD have started going there as well. Nicely run office, tons of high-tech equipment, great staff. The office is brand-new (about a year old), since they moved from Lake Ronkonkoma.

My DS did vision therapy there for a year. Feel free to PM with any questions. Overall, we had a great experience. My only bit of advice (and very important) please make sure your child's primitive reflexes are integrated. I brought my DS to numerous OT's to get him evaluated and all said they were integrated or slightly retained. I went with my mom gut and worked on the exercises and he's a different kid now.
