Favorite cozy spot?
Looking for a bar or restaurant rather than our usuals. Looking for something intimate and cozy. Bonus if it has a fireplace! Anywhere on LI. Thanks!

Porter's on the Lane in Bellport has a room with a fireplace. Not sure if they run it in the fall or only winter though
I always find Sempre Vivolo in Hauppauge to be cozy- it's like an old school Italian place. Dark wood, waiters in suits, etc

Thanks for the recs ladies! I'm going to check out the ones in Bellport. We've been to Sempre Vivolo but I don't know that I can get my DH in a sports coat again LOL

Pietro in St James is pretty cozy. Also Michael Anthony’s in Wading River.
