Any one have a video go viral?
Long story short, some stole our outdoor christmas decorations (some of them, not all) and we saw it on our security cameras. My friend contacted the news about it, they did a story on us last night.
Now, I have all these websites reaching out to me to ask if they can share it and one wants us to sign a licensing agreement. Basically that they will share the video and we'll both make money on it.
I didn't put this out there to make money. I wanted our decorations back and for the thief to be caught. But, DH says, if we do make money (from ads and views), it's not a bad thing and we'd use the money to buy more decorations.
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this... I have no agreed to or signed anything yet.

Yes, about six years ago. I had lost my wedding and engagement rings at the beach and a man with a metal detector found them two days later, buried. Several weeks later-through a series of coincidences and involving some members of this site, actually-this man and I were put in touch. He then got in touch with the media and NBC and the NY Post were there when this man reunited me with my rings at the beach where I lost them. My family and I were on the 11pm news and in a big spread in the paper. A real feel-good story 
Anyway, a couple of other media outlets, including Good Morning America, got in touch with me, but I felt enough was enough. We had our 15 minutes and I didn’t want to “expose” myself or my family any further. Even if money were involved, I still would have declined.

Any one have a video go viral?
I put some videos up on youtube of my husbands reactions to game of thrones (he didn't know I was filming him) and one video has over 32K views! But no media outreach!

Yes, I did or rather a picture. It was with my Girl Scout troop and we were selling cookies. It was right after the Academy Awards and the host had his daughter's sell cookies to the audience. Leo DiCaprio ended up winning for something and we made a sign with a play on the "Be Like Bob"...ended up getting picked up and was on the Today show and Good Morning America.
