So what's going on with Britney? I know she's been under a court-ordered conservatorship since her breakdown years ago, but what's up with the weird creepy videos she's been posting? Her conservatorship seems pretty extreme and the courts won't grant her an overturn or leniency.
I've never been a fan of her music, but I feel bad for her as a person. She seems so sad and lonely.
There is supposed to be a documentary airing soon about this.

She posts very bizarre things on Instagram. It's almost as if she never developed socially beyond a childlike state. I think she has a significant mental illness...

I think she definitely has major issues. Her eyes look sort of empty. Hope she is getting the help she needs if necessary. I feel bad for her kids since they have to see her like that. To be the child of a parent with mental illness is no joke.

I read recently that back in the day she had a near fatal overdose and due to that, there was some damage done and she is not mentally the same..that is why she is constantly with a companion, under conservatorship and has no control of her social media...it is handled by one of her handlers.

I don't think it's extreme. From the outside it seems she has some serious issues going on. I'm glad someone is there to protect her and her finances. And these people fighting to Save Britney need to step away. They don't know/see the behind the scenes of what's really happening with her. She needs help and seems to have it.

I'm not saying there isn't a need for a conservatorship. I'm sure there is a very real need for it especially to protect her from ill-intentioned people who want to manipulate or hurt her in her fragile state and scam her out of her money or if they fear she'll blow through her entire fortune frivolously.
By extreme I meant I just wonder how her conservatorship can state she's mentally unfit to spend her own money, but not too mentally unfit to endure the stresses of performing (pre-covid) which might exacerbate her condition. Unless she is fully involved in decision making and performing is her own decision? I wonder if it's in her best interest vs. the best interest of her estate. Is she allowed to make day to day decisions for herself without permission - that sort of thing.
And I agree. Unless people are on the inside they'll never really know what's going on and there seem to be a lot of conspiracies surrounding her that her fans are fueling. I admittedly know nothing about all this. I don't follow her. I just happened across an article that people are weirded out by some videos she's been posting. I only saw one video and it was odd.

Ok. I watched a YouTube documentary last night. It's a 4 part series. What the other paparazzi did to her was horrifying. No wonder she lost it. Watching the paparazzi harass her while she is just trying to protect her baby. The whole thing is sad.

I watched framing britney and I thought it was really poorly done.
Nothing new that I haven't seen or heard before.
They didn't ask Felicia about Britney's relationship with her dad, expand on if she ever still has any communication with her, what she feels is actually going on... etc.
There seems to be no evidence that her father is doing the conservatorship just for the money, but it does seem that him and Britney fight and that he has a temper. Where is Britney's mom in all this? People forget her sister is also famous and she's not in the same position. They used to be close, wouldn't Britney's sister be helping?
It's all confusing. The only thing is what do those medical records say. Why did she get denied the right to choose a lawyer based on the medical record.
Either the judge was paid off and there is more of a conspiracy... or Britney has serious medical concerns. Maybe PP Depression that spiraled.... or bipolar disorder ... or she like ODed or had an accident that maybe took away some brain functioning??
Sam Lufti seems to be the biggest question mark here. The family thought he was crushing pills and putting it in her food and drugging her.... I mean... I could believe that...
It's all so strange and scary and no one really knows and I'm not sure we ever will....

O thought so too. And they left a lot out I think. I will say I didn't realize how fragile she is. Some people just do not have a thick enough skin for the celebrity life. She was just a kid for crying out loud. The way Diane Sawyer talked to her during that interview was so condescending. She seems to be defending the woman who said she wanted to shoot Britney Spears. They made her put out this image of an oversexed teen with her single "baby one more time" when she was what, 15? Then made her do interviews where she had to defend herself. No wonder she cracked under pressure. Sad situation for her and for her kids too...

Have you guys seen the demi lovato stuff? She admitted drug use sent her to "rehab" which was really, she had suffered a heart attack and 3 strokes! It left her with permanent brain damage. She can't drive or read. But she can and still performs. I really think Britney must have suffered brain damage as well. It's the only thing that makes sense in this context.

So what she actually said was that she doesnt drive because she still sometimes has spots in her vision and that it took her awhile to be able to read again and it was a very big deal when she was able to read a book again. So she can read, but does not drive

I read it, and it is just so sad. I wouldn't be surprised if she gets the whole conservatorship to end, she will find that she has nothing and her family took it all.
