Is it true??
I am seeing that snow on Sunday will only be a minor event, 3 inches or so and done by the evening. DH said he saw on the news that it may be as big as the one we had yesterday?!? Nooooooooo

I saw about 3" but who knows, they rarely predict snow totals right especially this many days out.

I’ll loose my sh***t if it snows like this again Sunday. I had to drive to and from work in it yesterday and will have to do so on Sunday too. Shoot me

I saw that! Now they say an inch of snow and sleet. Hope that sticks! My kids went back to school today- I go back tomorrow, we are remote one more day- and this house looks like a bomb hit it. Everyone being stuck home for multiple days doesn't do anybody any good.

I'm hoping for something minor. My fave weather people (Islandwide Weather) are not saying either way yet- too many variables. I feel like a LOT of this is going to melt Friday though with the high temps and rain.

I'm hoping for something minor. My fave weather people (Islandwide Weather) are not saying either way yet- too many variables. I feel like a LOT of this is going to melt Friday though with the high temps and rain.
At the start of the storm I had to explain to someone not on LI that I get my weather reports from someone on FB not affiliated with any type of organization and was mad that everywhere in the world does not have an Islandwide weather equivalent.
They just kept asking "you mean like the news?" and saying that the weather channel might have a FB page.
I  Islandwide Weather.

I see rain/snowshowers. Plus its too warm Sunday for Snow. However things can change. I hope not because i have Superbowl plans

They are the only ones I listen too. That and I go by the app Dark Sky which usually is pretty accurate and right the app is showing barley a chance for rain but it probably won’t update till its gets closer.

So Islandwide just posted a video about the storm Sunday- still unsure. As of right now they are considering it a non-event. Rain with maybe some snow but it will be quick and while the roads will be icy Monday, there won't be accumulation. Of course, this may change based on how the systems move tomorrow. So  who knows!

And now they say it's looking like accumulation. 
They are now saying 5-7" of accumulation early Sunday, particularly on the South shore.
