Is it just me?

Or is the size of everyone's butts just out of control these days? I feel like it has to be implants. The Kardashians and all of their friends have identical derriere. Where do they come from???

Yes, definitely some kind of procedures. You don't' just grow an ass like that.
Even if you gain weight, your ass may get bigger, but it's not going to pop like that.

I remember seeing Angelina from Jersey Shore getting a "liquid butt lift".
The dr was injecting her ass with some fillers.
I remember she had to go for all these sessions and it ended up costing like $21,000 when all was said and done.

I swear these people are like 75% plastic and fillers and God knows what else.
Nobody is real anymore.

I often wonder what the actual long term effects of these fillers are. Think about it- you are injecting a foreign substance into your body. It doesn't last forever- so your body must be absorbing and processing that shit out of you system somehow. What does it do to your liver? Or whatever else? Does it cause cancer down the road?

I swear, people worry about the side effects of vaccines, what about all the shit you're injecting into your lips and ass?

For some, it also becomes an addiction.
I was scrolling around You Tube one day and came across this girl who was 21 years old, absolutely adorable and had so many plastic surgeries it was insane.
She had a boob job, fine, but then she also had her hips made wider somehow (fat transfer maybe?), butt implants, a nose job (her nose was perfect). The doctor who did the nose job messed it up in her opinion- again, I didn't see anything wrong with it before OR after, so she had to go to another doctor to "fix" the nose.
But the kicker was, she had her second toes shortened. Yes, you read that correctly.
She didn't like that her second toes were "long" so she found some doctor to "fix" it. They basically opened up her toe and like took out a piece of bone to shorten it.
I was like
It's not like her toes were deformed or anything. She didn't even have hammer toes. They looked like normal people's toes. But she didn't like them. So she went through a painful surgery to "fix" them.
It is scary. And it's actually a form of mental illness i imagine.
I mean, a 21 year old, beautiful girl, doing all this work, right down to her toes?
Disturbing.
And these unscrupulous doctors who will do anything- even an unnecessary surgery- to make a buck.

I wish big butts were in fashion when I was in my teens and early twenties lol. They all look so fake, I don't know how anyone can think that it is attractive.

The giant inflatable butt trend is insane and out of control. I say that all the time. You can't go near social media without seeing tiny people falling over under the weight of their giant asses. I remember when JLo was considered to have a big butt and now it's a normal butt compared to these new butts in town. She's been outassed. I also remember when people used to say "does this outfit make my butt look big?" because you specifically wouldn't WANT it to look big. Now the answer is "No! It's not big enough Becky! It must be bigger! Behold the giant couch pillow ass!" Two giant big macs smuggled into a pair of neon acid wash mom jeans. Six hours of carefully applied makeup ruined by chronic duck lip syndrome and Jeffrey Dahmer coke bottle eyeglasses. People who don't even NEED prescription eyeglasses pretending they have an astigmatism. What have you been doing all day? Just applying makeup and inflating my ass and blogging about it. I want a time machine so I can gtfo.

Butts as fashion accessories. We're living in crazy times.

All true. Case in point. Remember those sneakers we used to refer to as "steady eddies?" Big bulky white New Balances ala Jerry Seinfeld? Or your grandpa?
Those are suddenly in now too.

I cannot help laughing hysterically because my niece wears those god awful shoes with crop tops and booty shorts. She also wears them in her tik tok videos where she is clearly trying to show off her ass.


To be fair, we all had some questionable fashion/body image choices. Remember super thin brows and heroine chic? It was also once a fashion statement to smoke cigarettes the way teens now use Starbucks as a fashion statement. I'll take thicker brows, healthy bodies, and Starbucks over lung cancer and anorexia any day.

I don’t know if any of you are addicted to tik tok like I am but I keep seeing that younger people can pick us out in a crowd by our side parts and skinny jeans.

Ummmm I would not look good in a middle part at any age, especially now. Plus, the skinny jeans hold everything in!! Lol it took me a while to like them and now I love them because everything stays put. I tried on looser fit jeans and some boot cut and it just did not look good on me. I looked like spongebob.

i'm on a couple of plastic surgery groups on FB because i'll be having skin removal next week.

the trend is a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL). they take fat from other parts of the body and relocate it to the rear.

a doctor who is very popular in these groups is in the dominican republic. you can check out his work on IG @drgiudicelli.

i used to think i had a big a$$. i'm cuban/dominican and i was chubby. then i got very heavy. i had a butt, but it was because all of me was bigger. now that i've lost my weight, i realize i ain't got an a$$ lol. i toyed with the idea of getting a butt lift, but it's just not right for my frame. i would look SSSSOOOOO fake. i'll just go back to my squats once i'm allowed to exercise again.
