Re: Best way to disguise Gray hair
It's going to be impossible going blonde from brown without a Professional doing it since your hair would need to be stripped to lighten it.....
You can have a hairdresser do it; but maybe not go as often. Stretch out your appointments as long as you can.
Otherwise, maybe consider Boxed and do it yourself and keep it on the light brown side without any blonde.

Re: Best way to disguise Gray hair
I get highlights done and it really hides the gray. And I don't have to go every month. I would say I have to go every 12 weeks or so- but I always stretch that....

I'm brunette and get blonde highlights to hide my grays. I am definitely not there every month. I can go several months between visits.

Same - highlights to hide the greys. Adds some blonde to my brunette, without a drastic change. And definitely don't need to go every month (Maybe I wait "too long" between visits, but I go 3-4 times per year at most - usually 3)

Thank you ladies! Any particular type of highlights LOL? I don’t want that streaky 90s chunky heather locklear style

You can just tell your stylist you don't want anything too chunky. They pretty much know though. I get high and low light's which gives nice dimension and keeps it from looking too blonde. You can also just get a partial highlight which focuses only on your crown area, and the front around your face

Same. Except during COVID. I've gone once this entire year. But who sees me anyway?! And my hair is up half the time anyway.

If you want to go longer between visits, you can use the spray or powder to cover them up.
