My Dh did come register with me and get this--- he even enjoyed it (unlike registering for our wedding)!! I also brought along my mother to help us pick out the "necessities" and a list of things I wanted to register for that I had previously researched online.

I brought DH the first time for the big stuff (with patterns, like stroller system, pack n play, high-chair, monitor...stuff like that). I then went back with my sister to register for some little things. I also did a lot of my registering online.

My DH did the whole thing. I went with him and had the check list but I found that making a decision was impossible so he did it for me and had a blast. He really felt involved.

My DH did come with me to register for the big things, the I went with my mom to finish it up. I couldnt believe how much fun he actually had being he wanted nothing to do with picking out pots or toasters.

No, my DH just put all the stuff together LOL. He could care less - he trusts me and since the stuff is "inside" the house its my domain LOL.

Nope, DH didn't come the first time... I went with a really good friend who has a baby so she could give me some tips on what we needed. For the big items though, I did my research and took DH and my mom to the store to pick things out (i.e. furniture, stroller, etc...), and make the final decisions...

My DH only helped pick out the furniture...he says he is "clueless" on the rest and trusts my judgement. So I went with one of my girlfriends to register and did the rest myself online.

I went with DH the first time for the big items but he got on my nerves just doing that. So second time I went with mom and then last time I went with my friend who already has a baby, that was very helpful!

I did that too...DH came with me the 1st time and then brought Mom and my brother's girlfriend with me to "fine tune" the registry...

Fh came with me...and he loved it...( I let him hold the gun)
I enjoyed spending that time with him..however looking at the registry now..I think I might have a few unnecessary things on there (I pretty much did EVERYTHING the sheet told me to do)
If anything I would have a friend "fine tune" as someone said before what him and I already did!

DH came with me to do the bigger stuff and to start looking at cribs...he really was not all that excited...so, we did what we could and I've been doing the rest pretty much online. I do plan on going back to the store soon to add a few other things.
