Re: Maskne

Have you tried using a face wash for acne? That may help clear out your pores.
There’s also that plastic thing I’ve seen posted here that you can find on a Amazon. It goes on your face over your mouth and the mask doesn’t really touch your skin that way.

I was having terrible maskne int he beginning but my skin seems to have gotten used to it. And I sweat a lot.

Re: Maskne

i had some issues for a bit. i found that washing my face with those silicone face brushes did the trick for me. i got the manual kind - not battery operated. i gently scrub my entire face and it has done a great job at getting everything off my face. my face isn't as dry, chapped, and broken out as last year.

Re: Maskne

I stopped wearing all make up except eye make up and my maskne improved so much.

Yes, try a face wash with salicylic acid, or a leave-on treatment with salicylic acid.

Also, it seems counterintuitive but, use a moisturizer. I find the masks dry my skin out, and that can actually cause your pores to overproduce oil, and acne treatments can also be drying as well.
