Has anyone done a nuclear stress test?

My husband has. Let me know if you have a specific question and i can ask him.
It was a few years back, before he retired, so not sure he'll remember but I can ask

It was a few years back, before he retired, so not sure he'll remember but I can ask
This is the one without the treadmill that puts your heart in stress. I had foot surgery last summer and haven't exercise walked since, but I am fine with walking. That is why this was prescribed to me. I am thinking I can try to handle the treadmill to avoid the injection. The test makes me nervous.

Yeah I know he had to be injected with something radioactive because he got a card to carry around to say he had the test just in case he set off a Geiger counter somewhere.

Yes I’ve done one. I had had spinal surgery and the cardiologist did not want me walking on the treadmill. It’s a long day but the test was easy

Has anyone done a nuclear stress test?
My dad has had a dozen or more over his lifetime. He has don’t the regular too but usually do the nuclear when he’s not up to the treadmill. He’s never had any issues from either test other than his ongoing heart issues

yes years ago. i'm not happy that i did it, i think my md was soaking my insurance. i'm not saying yours is, i'm just saying it was total overkill for the symptoms i presented.
