Yes, Kamal Dagly in Huntington is excellent. I knew him professionally first and then I actually had surgery with him. He's top notch.

Most hand surgeons do not take insurance unless they are corporate - meaning a Northwell, ProHealth, Mt. Sinai, etc. facility. Or the other way around that (and IDK what your injury is) is to go through an ER. If they are called as a consult they take your insurance. And Dr. Ellstein is the same practice is Dr. Dagly.

Orlin & Cohen They have many doctors and have offices all over LI. My mom used them for other parts of the body/pain management and they have been great.

Dr. Elizabeth Morrison of Total Orthopedics for my hand surgery.
Love her and she did an amazing job!
