Salt water filter

I’m getting a pool put in in early July, I was considering a salt water filter. Anyone have? Any reviews?

Re: Salt water filter

We just got one last year. Way, way easier than my dad's chlorine filter. Very easy maintenance.
The salt water is much easier on your skin and eyes.

We have salt water and LOVE it. I hate that chlorine smell, and easier to maintain.

Re: Salt water filter

I saw on the news this morning that chlorine is going to be very hard to find this summer.

My father was just saying this. He was telling me that he was having a hard time finding the chemicals that he needs and was basically going from store to store looking.

Seconded. We spent so much time in the pool last summer and it was lovely. The salt water is just so much more relaxing, easier on the eyes/bathing suit fabrics/noses/hair/everything!

We are Installing one too. Everyone says how amazing it is. I haven’t heard a single bad thing about it and I’ve read and researched and asked so many for their opinions and reviews. The only downside seems to be the upfront cost is a bit higher but cheaper in long run.

You just have to make sure it’s compatible with your set up or something.

I went for is... extra $1500 so I’m hoping it’s worth it!
