Since it's a holiday weekend - What's your favorite thing to make on the grill?
I loved grilled fruit, especially fresh pineapple. I slice it into spears and marinate it with hot buttered rum before grilling. TO. DIE. FOR.

Funny! Was just having this discussion. I HATE grilled food. I really don't eat much meat and even veggies on the grill I don't love, but I DO LOVE going to BBQ's. Just bc I love hanging out outside with the smell of grilled food and having a beer. LOL
Sorry, didn't contribute much to this one.

I love all grilled vegetables especially asparagus. My kids love grilled pineapple too but I just put some EVOO and salt.

Corn on the cob. There is nothing I dread more than a BBQ that doesn’t offer ample sides.

I love to slice a sweet potato into this rounds and then drizzled with olive oil, and sprinkle with kosher salt and a little pepper then grill on a vege grill pan. Turn half way through. OMG it comes out so crisp and delicious!
I'm not a big burger eater at all- I usually only like fast food burgers- weird I know. But I do love a well done hot dog off the grill!

My all time favorite is a hot dog.
I also love grilling crab legs (no messy clean up!) and I also like making foil packets. Easy.
Can you share your hot buttered rum pineapple recipe? That sounds delish.

Sure thing!
1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 cup salted butter 2/3 cup heavy cream 1/4 rum (any kind)
Mix everything together in a small saucepan. Set over medium heat and boil for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until thickened.
I cut up the pineapple, cover in the buttered rum and leave it until I am ready to grill. I grill on low heat until the pineapple softens and gets grill marks. Use whatever buttered rum is left in the dish to coat the pineapple when it comes off the grill. Serve warm.
