I already said I would never live or probably ever visit Australia after seeing TickTock‘s where they have house spiders that look to be the size of a newborn
This has now made me even more strong on my stance

That’s a huntsman. They don’t get that big usually. You actually want those spiders as they kill the (flying) cockroaches (everyone has the giant cockroaches in summer time). Their bite won’t hurt. They often like to hide in your car visors or behind things in your home.
You want to watch out for the funnel web spiders and red backs. The funnel webs like the inside of your shoes and can kill you in a half an hour with their bite. The red backs like toilet seats and you have 2-3 hours to get to hospital for anti-venom.
Snakes are worse up north. The north is just worse with crocodiles and snakes and lots of other things.
But, yeah Australia sucks, and one of the reasons I wanted to leave so badly were the cockroaches.

It’s clearly not as bad as that picture but we get really bad webs all over the grass at my house in the Catskills. Always creeps me out. I hate spiders! I’m also not much of an outdoorsy person, except for the beach!
