Re: Kyle Rittenhouse—-NOT GUILTY
Footage shows police handing Rittenhouse water and thanking him for being in Kenosha. Meanwhile, a video showed Jacob Blake walking away from the police when an officer shot him seven times in the back, leaving him paralyzed. The officer who shot Blake isn't facing charges. Many people, myself included, are pissed that Black Americans are left without justice for much less than homicide. There are those like Grace, who was detained for not doing her homework. And Fair Wayne Bryant, who was sentenced to life in prison for stealing hedge clippers. But it's not just certain cases, studies have shown that Black men receive sentences that are – on average – about 20% longer than white men...for the same crime. And are also disproportionately stopped, arrested, and killed by police. But keep smiling, keep being happy. All is well with the world

I am disgusted with the smiling face next to your subject. I truly don’t understand how anyone could be happy about this killer going free. And not only is he going free, he is being hailed as a hero. It makes no sense to me. He is a white supremacist who went to a BLM protest with his rifle to kill people. And that’s exactly what he did. What is there to smile about?
Did you bother even looking at the actual FACTS and watching the trail IRL or are you just spitting out some random crazy theories you heard second hand?I highly suggest you look at the actual evidence and facts presented at trial then try to open your mind even a a little to see how the jury came to their verdict, even after they the jury were intimidated.
It never ceases to amaze me how easy it is to brainwash people...
Yep, that is what is so wrong with the media these days.

Basically you know NOTHING about this at all so you are bringing up other things. Gotcha. Why bother responding when you never even followed this case.

Re: Kyle Rittenhouse—-NOT GUILTY
The jury had to go by the evidence. That's how it works. The evidence was nowhere near enough to convict him- regardless of anything else. In fact, the prosecution did just the opposite- THEY proved it was self defense themselves. Their own witness sat there and sealed it when he said he pointed a gun at the defendant first.
You can't just convict someone of something to prove a point or to make up for other injustices in this country.
It's disturbing that people think otherwise.

This hits the nail on the head. People are so hell bent on evening the playing field that they think instead of stopping injustices against black people, we should inflict them on white people. It doesn't work that way.

It is very disturbing. It is like they didn't watch or listen to anything that was presented to them at all.

While I agree with you there are inequities but that has nothing to do with this case. You don't punish someone because a wrong was done to others.

It seems she knows nothing of the Rittenhouse case so she is bringing up other things to try and justify it.

Who was black in the Rittenhouse case? Stop blanketing everything into black and white and look at the evidence. The fact that people who think like you and are so prejudice and narrow minded can get on a jury should frighten everyone.
Litsten are there injustices against black people in this country, absolutely. Did that apply in this case..absolutely not. And I hate to break it to you but the media has brainwashed you into thinking everything is racist...it's not so stop labeling everything as such.

Kyle Rittenhouse—-NOT GUILTY
Good ! It was a straightforward self defense case. Anyone reasonable person who watched the video and listened to the trial should have come to the same conclusion. The media bias on this is horrifying

Exactly, and people are blaming the judge, he/she is not the one who decides the verdict.

It's actually scary how many people don't even know how the criminal justice system works.

Exactly. Also, it really is horrifying to see people painting these criminals as heroes- one of them raped boys between 9-11 years old.

Amazing!
You don't have to be a lawyer to look at the evidence. The jury isn't made up of lawyers. They were presented the evidence and came to their decision based on the evidence that was presented. Based on the evidence presented you think they got it wrong? How so?

Re: Kyle Rittenhouse—-NOT GUILTY
Did I follow the trial nope so can’t give an educated opinion.
But I will say what I don’t understand is why anyone allowed him to walk around with a gun in a hostile environment. No one there should have been carrying any guns.
And I have to ask since I don’t know where there many people just walking around with guns out and if so why??!!! I don’t get it. That will just raise tension in already hostile environment.
He had no business being there. He didn’t need to go protect any business or whatever his claim was. He should have kept his assss home.
If he did he could have avoided all this. Self defense or not.
All that said I assume it was lawful for him to be carrying the gun and clearly the jury saw it has self defense but what people should be angry about are the laws! That’s what needs to change. And before anyone get all protective of the right to bare arms I’m not saying people can’t own guns I do think however there should be laws to say where and when you can just whip a gun out! At a protest/riot should not be a place where you can!!

How would you be able to stop people from bringing guns to a protest? The one guy he shot pointed his own gun at him. Who knows how many had one on them.

Actually arresting anyone who is seen carrying one instead of letting them just walk around with one of them?? Granted I get it you won’t be able to tell everyone one but those who are Obvious carrying maybe stop them.
I am Thinking it was legal which is why people were maybe make it illegal.

Yes his gun was legal and did you see the chaos that was out there? People weren't just walking down the street like a nice little parade. They were looting, burning down businesses. These were criminals that he dealt with, they didn't care about the law.
