Large gift for an 8 year old boy who has everything
My mom wants to give my son one big item ($200 max) and a few smaller things as opposed to all small things.
He already has Nintendo Switch, bike, throw back for sports, kayak, tablet, skateboard, scooter, Vespa, boogie board.
He almost had a serious accident on a hoverboard so that’s a no.
I have no clue what to tell her!!
Any ideas? Thanks.

Foosball table? That’s what my 7 year old DS wants. It’s also snot where we live so we’re investing in a LLBean snow tube.

Depends on what he likes. If he likes to read, maybe a kindle? And of he likes sports, an experience would be great.

It's a Razor Vespa made for kids. :)
My husband snagged it at a yard sale!

Agreed. Maybe tickets to the Christmas spectacular followed by skating in Rockefeller center. Or tickets to an Islander game.

We are getting my 7 year old an air hockey table. They make better ones that convert to foosball, table tennis and pool also.

Prob not the answer your looking for but
if he has it all what about the gift of doing for others, volunteer for a day.
rock climbing
I liked the other ideas, air hockey or adventure land tickets etc

If he plays baseball - a new glove or bat. Some golf clubs. A gaming chair. Tickets or a membership somewhere. Sports jerseys if they are into that.

When my DD was around that age she got a museum membership for the family. It was so awesome because there was reciprocity with other children's museums in every state. We ended up going to many museums that year in NY, MA, PA and more. It was a really great and well used gift!
