Do you have any snow day traditions?
When there's a snow day and you can't go anywhere, do you have anything that you always do at home? Any snow day traditions?
I always feel compelled to make pancakes for some reason lol.
(I hate the snow, but attempt to make the best of it)

Yesss same! I always make pancakes with bacon on snow days lol! After the kids play outside, we always have hot chocolate! :)

Baking bread or cookies, a big pot of soup or stew for dinner and pj's all day!

We don't really do the same thing every time it snows and we are stuck. Trying to not eat too much as I am in a weight loss competition and have lost 3 lbs in 2 weeks so want to continue doing good.
Making Cheddarwurst for dinner tomorrow night though as they were going to be for dinner tonight but because we can't order out tomorrow, we will do that tonight and have them tomorrow with some side and broccoli with EVOO, garlic, s&p in the air fryer.
One kid has work and the other one is talking about sleeping out so it might just be us and the dog all day.

OMG Same! I went to target at 830 this morning and loaded up on chips, salsa, queso, M&M's, ice cream and break and bake cookies.

We did the same. I told my DH he needed to go to the supermarket and he told me he had just went food shopping. I was like Nooo, for junk food to go with our alcohol. 
They are doing a Costco run later for the liquor. You know priorities!!

I was more worried I wasn't going to be able to get my vodka and didn't want the calories of Fireball lol. Got it though so all set.

Snow days aren’t really a thing here since kids go to school by public transport. It does snow here a lot though. It starts sometimes in October and then goes until March/April.
But when it snows a lot I usually make plans and check out which local cross country skiing tracks are good. Then I’ll go the next day. By that time the roads are clear to drive an hour away.

Our snow day traditions include my kids complaining they are bored by 9 am, kids eating every single thing in my kitchen by noon, kids fighting over the TV/iPads by 2 pm, kids refusing dinner because they spent all day eating snacks, and kids being banished to their bedrooms by 8 pm so I don't have to listen to them anymore.

Oldest said they were sleeping out. I said well you better be ready to stay until Sunday. Lol. No sibling fighting if they are apart

One guy was walking out with 50 cases of Modelo. Not sure if he was trying to service the whole barrio or what. Lol.
Probably was a coincidence and it’s for a party or to resell.

My fifth grader was invited last minute to sleep at a friends house...which means he won't be coming home until Sunday. One down, four to go.
