You know what the worst part is?
Once they plow and clean up this crap, it isn't going away until July.
There will be filthy dirty 6 foot mounds of it everywhere.... parking spots taken up by it, it will be black and filthy on the side of the road.
Mounds if it that won't melt until summer.
God it's so depressing to look at...

I think if you want someone reliable to pay for them to do it you have to get a landscaper and set it up ahead of time because once the snow starts its nearly impossible to get anyone

You have to hire someone in advance. My parents have someone come through their landscapers…they used to try to do it themselves but it got to be too much. We are too far so for a snow like this we couldn’t get to them until tomorrow or Monday.
We have people knock on our door but I know that varies from neighborhood to neighborhood.

Our snow blower wouldn't start. He was tinkering around with it in the garage last night and this morning, but we have to bring it to a repair shop. Thankfully we have a short driveway filled with cars so it wasn't too horrendous for him to shovel a path. Will have to redo tomorrow though...

Right now I just need someone to plow out a small area and my kid knows someone so hopefully they can do that as they need to park when they get home.

I know it’s too late for this storm but Ours wouldn’t start before the storm and someone suggested putting in premium gas so we drained it and changed the gas and it started that time.

Ugh, I know. I normally like snow, but this is too much. We came home from California into it on Friday. And the town did a crappy job of plowing. Probably because my neighbor parks his trailer on the street, so they don't plow to the curb, basically only one lane on the other side of the street. And I live on a dead end, so most of the snow is pushed to my driveway. I had to pay someone to plow for me. So annoying, but at least I was able to get out and go to the grocery store this morning!
