Dingy stained whites
Any tips or tricks for white shirts that look dingy and yellow? I cleaned out a drawer thanks to the snow day and came across some white tees and tanks that are still good and not that old but look dingy. I googled and found tons of methods but looking to see if anyone has something they tried and knows it works.

My sister swears by laundry stripping from GoCleanCo:
1 cup (or use the scoop that comes in box) of Powdered Tide Laundry ¼ cup of Borax ¼ cup Arm and Hammer Washing Soda
Steps: 1. Fill bath tub with water as hot as hell 2. Add clean and sorted like coloured clothes—SORT YOUR CLOTHES PEOPLE. Do not get me started on sorting clothing. 3. Add in the mixture, stir so it dissolves 4. Let soak for 4 hours or more 5. Stir every hour Drain and wring clothes out, take to washing machine (get a bucket so you dont drip everywhere) Run a full cycle with NO soap or fabric softner (there is already plenty of soap in the clothes) dry, fluff and fold.

I have seen that stripping method but I have no time to do all that then have to drag soaking wet clothes downstairs to my laundry room. Out White Brite is amazing. It doesn't smell nice but what I do is soak them in my utility sink overnight and then the next morning throw everything in the washing machine on hot with a taplespoon of my laundry detergent and some scent beads. Whites come out bright white, and not smelling like the product at all.

Oxy Clean works great for general dinginess. Soak in a basin of oxyclean dissolved in water & then wash normally. Just putting oxyclean in the laundry never worked for me. I think there is liuid oxyclean now, but I haven't tried it.

You could probably do the other method in your utility sink also lol.

I use Out White Brite for my son's baseball pants - it works well (it just faded the colored stripes a bit).
