FDA issues with Home Covid Tests

It says on the box they have not been FDA approved

Doubt it. I'm sure the government wouldn't send unauthorized tests out to everyone. The article literally says it's not authorized for use in the United States.

I haven't checked mine either, I just threw them in the medicine closet. I'll have to take a look later too.

I haven't checked mine either, I just threw them in the medicine closet. I'll have to take a look later too.
From the Govt - I got Binax Now tests. They are'nt FDA approved, just EUA.
From the school district I got another brand, not the one recalled, and they are also EUA.
I really don't think this is going to change the testing, the testing was crazy over the holidays as so many people were sick or exposed to people who were sick. Now there aren't as many of either (hence why masks came off today).

Yes, that is what it was. Funny how they sent home free tests that are NOT FDA approved.
The ones I received from work are IHealth, and they are.

Pretty sure she didn't have a choice as there was a deadline of March 2nd.

FDA issues with Home Covid Tests
I never ordered the kits or got the ones from the school district. So I don’t know which ones they even are . I went to the CVS website and was looking at the ones they sell there and none of them are FDA approved only emergency use.

The ones that I have at home (and the same person got more yesterday ) expire in October so at least I know they are not expired.

From my experience whether a kid can go back to school or whether or not you have to quarantine. Since people think everything is covid, sometimes you need to test to provide proof it’s not, so you can live your life.

Yes.
And I know some people want to have it documented so if their unvaccinated kid sneezes at all during the 90 days after the positive test, they don’t have to test them again.

Exactly and we don't have to go crazy and cause chaos being tested and going to the doctor and overwhelming them and the hospitals. If you can ride it out, ride it out, if not then do like you normally would have done. Go to your doctor and get tested.
