Job search/ghosted after interview

So I've been trying to switch careers now for a while trying to get back into a field I worked in a few years after college, I haven't been having much luck but I had an interview last Tuesday and the interviewer seemed to really like me and said that she would have her colleague follow up with me for second interview on Friday and, asked about my availability. Friday came and went and I didn't hear anything. I sent an email yesterday just as a follow up letting her know that I haven't heard from her colleague, but that I was still interested in the position. Should I just assume that they are not interested if I don't hear back?

I would give it a few more days, I think it's too soon to give up hope just yet. Sometimes unexpected things happen at work, meetings come up, people get busy. Hope you hear from them. Good luck!
