Have a birthday party months after birthday thoughts?
My daughters 12th birthday was in January. At the time covid cases were at an all time high and many places had restrictions and it didn’t seem like a larger group gathering would be something many would attend. Now, she would like to have a party, maybe a dinner with 20 friends. Is it weird to have a party three months later?

No, it's not weird. I'm sure people will understand. You can call it 12.25, if you want. Maybe even make that a theme -- have a cake and a quarter of a cake too!
The only thing that would make me hesitate would be if her friends already gave her a gift in January. In that case, I would stress that a gift is not necessary since they already gave her one. But, there's no reason why you can't have a party.

No - we are having a party next week during Spring Break for my son who's b-day was last month lol. And many of his friends who had winter birthdays are still planning parties, some around their half birthdays. Nobody wanted to have a super-spreader.

my son's birthday is in the middle of winter. sometimes, the weather sucks. i've had more than one party for him at different times of the year.

No. My daughters birthday is in April and then when Covid first hit we had her party in august. You’re totally fine!

My DD is January also last year I also postponed her birthday cause of Covid I finally booked it in the end of August that year. It was her last big party so I wanted to get it out of the way and not have to do It this year lol.

It's fine. I wouldn't even think twice if DD was invited to a party now for a bday that was over the winter.
