Left over dental root from extraction?
Anyone have this? I think it’s from my wisdom tooth and it only bothers me occasionally. X-ray showed it should finally be removed because the dentist said it is weakening my jaw. I want to take care of this before I move because I have to be put under.
I regret deciding to go to many doctors to catch up and get my records for the move. First I’m losing my hearing and now dental surgery.
How painful will this be? Pain medication is not really done here, but they seem to hand out Valium like candy.

Does it hurt now? It shouldn't be too painful, as long as they numb the area.

It only hurts before my period. Then I use a special rinse and it is fine. But the dentist said it is kind of like a blade in my gum and it could hurt my jaw if I fall. I also need to get some other work done in the future and this is the first thing I should do.

I had some fragments left after an extraction. I waited probably 10 years to get them removed. I’m happy I did. It wasn’t really that painful and I no longer had irritation in that area.
