Ok but one drink doesnt make you drunk. I can understand you saying you wont drive after one but your not drunk. And depending on what and how long in between you might not have any thing in your Blood,

but there have been a few times that i know i SHOULDN"T have been driving!
AND i think if people were honest ..this is common!
i agree - but this was years ago and i've never done it since.

Ok.. See I can handle it Not that I am proud of that  PLUS I am a bigger girl so it takes a little more to get me drunk. I can have one drink if Im at a wedding then wait 4 hours and theres nothing in my system. Thats all im saying.

Theres just no reason to do it. There is always someone you can call. And If you call a cab company they will drive you home for free.

I have to admit that I've never driven drunk. At a wedding, I will maybe have ONE drink but it will be very early in the evening, like at the cocktail hour so by the time the wedding is over it wont affect my sytem.

I've never driven "drunk" but I've driven where I was in a state that I probably shouldn't have been driving once.  It was a terrible thing to do and I would never do it again. 
I'm usually very paranoid about having any alcohol in my system if I am a driver. I'm totally willing to leave my car somewhere, call for a ride, WHATEVER it takes to not drive under the influence. I've noticed there are some people that just aren't like that.

I have only been severely drunk twice in my life and have never drove. I always have been home.
When I used to go out with the girls, I was always the designated driver because I lived the furthest. i saw MANY drunk drivers on the road though

Sorry to say this, but if you would have gotten a dwi then what makes you think you were ok to drive?
You were over the legal limit, which was set for a reason.
It probably would have been a DWAI and not a DWI.
Many people do not realize how little you have to drink to be legally intoxicated. Here is some info. I had two glasses of wine in a little over an hour. For a 120 pound female my BAC would have been approximately .07.
DWI: Driving While Intoxicated; .08 BAC or higher or other evidence of intoxication.
DWAI: Driving While Ability Impaired (by alcohol); .05 BAC to .07 BAC, or other evidence of impairment.

I have never been drunk but I have had times where I had 2 drinks and hung out at a bar for 4 hours and then drove home. Or had one glass of wine with dinner and drove him an hour later. I know a lot of people don't know when they are too tipsy to drive but I do know that I could have 4 drinks and not even be buzzed. I would NEVER drive a car once I have more than 2 and if I am leaving some place right after finishing a drink I will not drive.
It's worked out for me because DH doesn't really like to drink and he's always the driver.

If I even have a shot I wont do it.
Florida is extremely insane with drunk drivers. You could have done a shot an hour ago, the slightest hint that you have any booze in your system they will haul your butt in and book you. MADD and SADD is very very big in our neighborhood.

I have not driven drunk or will drive in a Car with someone who is drunk. 1 drink with dinner? Fine. More than that? No way. I am usually the DD when i go out w DH and with friends because that is a big rule of mine.
A friend of mine was almost killed by a DD when we were teenagers and I was in a horrific car accident bc of a DD going over the double yellow.
