I can’t believe i am asking this, BUT….

On garbage day, do you check to see if the kitchen garbage needs to go out or do you just bring whatever is already in the cans to the curb?

In the morning I throw out anything in the fridge that is needed and take the trash from all garbage pails in the house.

no i dont, but we get garbage pickup tues, thurs and sat. It's often enough that I'm not really concerned about the kitchen garbage. Worst case is it goes to the curb a day or two later

Garbage in the kitchen and bathroom get taken out the night before and my husband puts the pails out on garbage day.

We only get one pick up per week so the kitchen and all the bathroom garbages get taken out the night before. During the week the other kitchen garbage bags are stored in the garage because... bears.

At my old apartment it was once a week, so yes, I would and I would go through the fridge as well.

Now it is twice a month, so I will do the same. Garbage is separated into compost, plastic, paper, and the rest (except glass, which goes to a separate location), so that is why it is every two weeks.

Since I am the only one that empties the bathroom garbage , I am constantly taking it to the kitchen when it has something in it.

The kitchen garbage gets thrown out (again most of the time I am the only one who sees it is full) whenever it is full.

We have garbage come Monday and Thursdays. We usually put it out only once a week if both cans are not full.

We have a really small kitchen garbage can. It fits a plastic grocery bag perfectly. Since it's small, I pretty much take it outside every day after dinner. I take out the bathroom garbage cans every week when I clean.

Definitely empty the kitchen garbage on garbage days.

Yes, we typically empty the kitchen trash bag and bring it out with the rest of the garbage. The only time I won't is if I just changed it and there's like nothing in there.

we have a trash compactor, it's a total game changer - I can go two weeks without taking the garbage out, no smells, no icky garbage can it's awesome

My DH disagrees. We’re on the same page now lol

I’ll add the kitchen garbage was full. Not stuffed but definitely should have been checked and then taken out.

I check it and if it's close to full I take it out.

Every night after dinner I take out the garbage bag doesn’t matter if bag is full or not. On garbage days I might check the fridge to see what food needs to be thrown out.

We make a lot of Garbage for only 2 people. The kitchen garbage goes out every night and a fresh bag put in at bed.

So yea, it goes out garbage days

Yes I always take out all the garbage from all the cans in the house & bring them outside for garbage night. I like having all the trash in the house gone & starting fresh twice a week.
