Spinoff of Remote Jobs--Not dressing up
Holy Cannoli, I have an event to go to tonight which requires nice clothing and I have NOTHING and what I DO have, I look like a whale.
Another reason remote working is not good lol.
I do go in the office but we are super casual (almost to the point of pajamas and sweats) which means I wear jeggings, leggings and anything stretchy and a sweater to cover the rest.

Don't get me started. I used to wear dresses and heels almost every day. I have 2 closests full of clothes like that that I haven't worn in 3 years except if I had a shower or other nice party to go to or it was a holiday like Christmas or Easter
I have to go to an in person meeting 2 days next week and I am stressing out on what to wear.
I don't even feel like putting that stuff on, shaving my legs (lol), and I am not even sure if my feet will handle heels anymore.
I have been in leggings and sweats and sneakers for so long now that I'm flabbergasted that I have to actually look decent

I finally just took off my pandemic weight gain!!! It was horrible but I feel great now. Finally my clothes fit me okay again. These past few years have done a number on everyone.

I hear you! I have the school gala tomorrow and have no idea what to wear. I have been taking out some loose formal dresses I have, but I have o look for the shoes and my legs are so white and dry that I'd prefer to wear panty hose and I never did before!

Sally Hansen Airbrush legs works amazing. Looks like pantyhose without the annoyance of wearing pantyhose

OMG that was one of the reasons I didn't even pick a dress that I might have been able to squeeze into. I didn't want to shave my legs lolol

I have to stop with the eating of crap. Too much of just a few cookies, a piece of cake, a brownie, chips. It is not good.

Oh yeah I threw away all my stockings and tights so I don't even have any left to wear.

Remote ruined me ??
Spent way too much time wearing sweats that I didn’t notice the weight amass I should have started exercising with the time I had from not commuting.
Got way too casual.

Ha! I had extensive dental work done that left me unable to eat solid foods for a while and I also did Dry January which I extended into February. I went 52 days total with no alcohol. Then I got the stomach flu.....

Honestly I think that was everyone, combined with what seemed like everyone drinking in excess.... You are not alone!

LOL. This is funny. I lost all my baby weight by having a gall stone attack that left me unable to eat for 4 days and then the ensuing surgery.
The nurses at the hospital who were checking my incision after I had my gallbladder out were like- how are you so thin 5 weeks PP, and I was like- I've been vomiting and in severe pain for a week but thanks!
