Random question.
I live 3-3.5 hours away from my family. My brother will be traveling to my area (30-40 mins away) next week. Is it weird for me to ask to meet up at his destination to get dinner. They’re here for a week.
I know it’s my brother and it shouldn’t be weird. If it was one of my sisters or other brother, I wouldn’t even question it. lol maybe that gives me my answer.

Random question.
When I first saw this question, I thought to myself "No, why would it be weird? What does it matter where you go to dinner?" But, then I thought that he may want to be invited to your home, particularly since he probably doesn't visit often. At home, it's more of a relaxed evening instead of more "formal" at a restaurant. So, I guess, yes, it is a little weird. But, it really depends on the family dynamics.

hmm, no sure if it's weird but, I kinda agree with nycbuslady, it might feel more relaxed if you invited to your home. BUT, if you meet him, he doesn't have to drive that extra 40 ish min. So, ask, feel him out. Have fun visiting.

I guess my one brother gives off a weird vibe for lack of a better word.
My house is definitely out of the way from their vacation spot so I wouldn’t think he’d want to stop by while on vacation. It’s like saying hey you’re going to the Hamptons on vacation and I live in Islip. lol
Just going to send him a text and see what he says.

It’s not weird at all to ask your brother to meet up for dinner, especially since he’s nearby and you haven’t seen him in a while. But I do understand what everyone is saying :)
