Why am I so stupid?
So I only BD'd once around ovulation...which was last week. AF is expected Saturday. I get my hopes up and feel "symptoms" that I'm sure don't exist and I test today...to get a BFN!  Why do I torture myself?
A) It was probably too late when we BD
B) One time isn't enough
C) I knew all of the above but still tested and tortured myself
Vent over! I'll wait for AF!

You just want it as badly as the rest of us.
DH doesnt want me testing or using OPK until and unless I dont get a period. We are doing the day 10 and every other day thing. It is hard not to be in the know. I tried an OPK once and a test after the first month of TTC and it upset me too much - so he said THATS it!

Why do virtual hugs make me feel better? Thank you!! I'm crying now!! 
I won't tell DH or let him see me crying because he'll ask about my mental health again!  
Les, I'm with you! He doesn't want me doing anything either and considering we really just started trying (and only BD once) I shouldn't have such high hopes. But if next month I still get a BFN I'm going to need a lot of hugs!

Well... one time really can be enough. We only BD'd only once around O (the day before) and I got PG this month. So you really never know.
It's so hard to know if what you're doing is "right" when you're going through this. It took us 4 cycles. The first 3 I swore I timed it right and BD'd several times and nada. This month I was certain that it wouldn't happen.
You tested too early. Keep your hopes up. You never know.

Just wait until you get peeonastickitis. I also get every symptom known to man, and this month even worse that previous months!!
Don't get too upset. I'll pass you the tampon on Saturday...af is due over here too!!

And I think I have a mild case of peeonastickitis...
Thanks for the dust...but I think AF is definitely showing. Although from your mouths to God's ears. Once is enough, huh?

A)I thought BDing on day 16 would be too late
B)it was our first time
C) don't test again..I tested and got a BFN, was upset...but you know what? it was too EARLY!! let yourself be. Take one when AF is due. if its another BFN, then you listed your reasons why. Next month, you will be on your mission.
ETA: I am dying to know what your vaulted ceiling nursery will look like

Sasha, I had a thought. Since you have that jewelry background, when you have a daughter someday, why not name her Ruby? (OK its corny but I thought it may cheer you up).

Janice...you had me PIMP!! The nursery doesn't have vaulted ceilings...just the guest bedroom!! Thank you for the encouraging words though...I hope you're right! 
Les - hmm, Ruby's too "common" how about Diamante like Kobe Bryant's wife named her baby?

Thanks!! You have made me feel so much better. It's great to know that others know what I'm going through because they're going through it! 
I feel like total crap today! I have the worst stomach pains and diarrhea (sorry, way too much TMI) and I can barely speak from the pain. I just want to sleep.  To make matters worse, I came in to work because I have tons to do and I got yelled at by one of my accounts for sounding "like I troubled you" because I'm so lethargic.  And had a fight with DH last night that spilled into this morning.
Is it Friday yet?
