Regular posters with anonymous names?
That would be me! 
Nobody knows we are trying. DH and I are the only ones who know. It is going to come as a big surprise to our family and friends. I would like to keep us TTC-ing a secret and when I get PG ( ) I would also like to keep that a secret until 12 weeks. That is why I am posting as "unidentified."
Who else is with me posting under an anonymous name?

I have a lot of aquaintances on here... friends, friends of friends, relatives of friends, and I just don't want to word to get out. Like I said in my first post, nobody knows we are TTC except for me and DH. I want to keep it that way until I am 12 weeks pregnant.

Totally understand how you feel....NOT TTC yet but I know once I get pregnant I will want to keep it a secret for a little while...I am supersticious

I am TTC and I am using my real name but the odds are that I wont share until I feel comfortable. Too superstitious. I am sure people will guess.

I am not TTC yet, but when I do, I think I am going to post under my real name. DH and I have agreed that we won't tell our families until a few months, but I feel pretty safe here posting. I'll probably wait until a few weeks after the BFP to post.

I am the same way. I mostly lurk on here becasue we haven't started TTC yet but we are soon. ANd i don't want anybody to know yet.

I absolutely agree.... I don't want people looking at me all the time to see if I'm pregnant or not. I think its such a personal thing...

I have no body on this site so i am safe... we r 5 weeks and we only told our best friends and my sister everyone else has to wait till i am 12 weeks.........

I use my real name, it is safe for me because my friends and family do not really know this site. I don't know any LIF members.
Only my SIL knows we are TTC and she is so helpful and supportive.

I am a regular poster hiding behind an anonymous name... there are some aquaintances on here that I wouldnt want to know yet, especially cause we only told parents and siblings until 3 months!

For me, we're trying - but not telling people because I don't want the pressure of everyone asking me everytime we see them!
I also like that it's something my husband and I can share between us, that no one else knows about.
And the reason I'm keeping it a secret on here is because if something DOES happen, I want my family to know first.
I promise to come out of hiding eventually though .

Me too! I do not like how TTC has become a big public thing lately. Everyone you know asking a million questions and trying to guess.
I have some friends and family on here and it's none of their business.
And you can bet your bottom dollar that I won't be telling ANYONE until I'm 12 weeks.
I have friends who told the world the second they peed on the stick! 
To me, there is too much that can go wrong that early on and I don't want anyone knowing until it's safe.
