ovulation

Before I ask this question, keep in mind that I do not necessarily want to be PG right now.
I did an OPK stick on wed. and got 2 dark lines.
then last night (Sunday) DH and I did the deed and he did not pull out.
Could I be PG? I'm mad at us for not being careful.
Hopefully, you can set my mind at ease.

I'm not too familiar with the OPK sticks - but does that mean you O'd on Wednesday and DTD last night?

If that's the case, I think you're pretty safe - it be a HUGE stretch for you to get PG 4 or 5 days after ovulating - I'd say impossible.

From what I understand, the OPK detects your LH surge which usually happens 24-36 hours before you ovulate. So if you had your surge on Wed evening, it's possible that you didn't ovulate until Friday morning. Even if the egg survived the maximum of 24 hrs that would be until Saturday morning. I *think* DTD on Sunday evening should be safe if you don't want to be PG.

oh boy! now becasue we're stupid, I'll be panicking for the next 2 weeks. how soon can I test?

I wouldn't worry - sounds like the chances are slim to none. I think you can relax for the next 2 weeks!

I HIGHLY doubt you could get pregnant from that but theres always a chance. Good Luck
