PreNatals
Which one do you use? Any side effects or is there a "better one" to use? Thanks!

Re: PreNatals
I take the generic of Novanatals which is called Nutrispire. That's what my doc prescribed, so that's what I am taking.

Re: PreNatals
My doctor gave me a sample of Citracal with DHA - I just got a script of it filled the other day - and have taken it for about 2 weeks now - I don't seem to have any side effects but it is hard to tell so far.

Re: PreNatals
Still in the TTC stage, I took PreNate Elite and Citracal with DHA . Doc gave me an Rx for PreNate Elite but they weren't covered so I'm going to get the Citracal with DHA since they have a generic.

Re: PreNatals
Thanks girls...I got 7 different samples so I just wanted to see where to start. My doctor wanted me to try all of them and let her know which one I liked best to get a script for it. So, I am starting with PrimaCare One and just going down the pile. I have novanatals in there too. Each of the samples is for a week so I guess I will have more than a month of free vitamins!

This is what I am on too. It might help to take it after dinner. You are home and can relax

Re: PreNatals
I am taking OTC prenatals from Rite-aid.. no side effects that I've noticed, I hope it stays this way... very minimal stomach irritation, hardly notice anything, but I always take it with a light b-fast.
ETA: Is there really a difference between OTC and prescription prenatals? We are not really officially TTCing.. so I figured I'll take the prescription ones when I am pregnant, if my doc really think I need it.
