I use chopped canned tomatoes, lots of garlic, cumin, barbeque seasoning, chilli powder, ground beef and turkey, chunks of top sirlon, chopped hot peppers in the can, lots of chopped onions- your basic stuff. The secret ingredients though are a bottle of dark beer and a cube of chocolate. Sounds crazy but tastes delish!
Edited to add- this is just guidlines since I really don't use a recipe. I usually cook it for 6 to 8 hours.

Wendy’s Chile
Ingredients: • 2 pounds ground beef • One 29-ounce can tomato sauce • One 29-ounce can kidney beans (with liquid) • One 29-ounce can pinto beans (with liquid) • 1 cup diced onion (1 medium onion) • 1/2 cup diced green chili (2 chilies) • 1/4 cup diced celery (1 stalk) • 3 medium tomatoes, chopped • 2 teaspoons cumin powder • 3 tablespoons chili powder • 1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper • 2 teaspoons salt • 1 cups water
Preparation: • Brown meat in a skillet on the stove • Add the rest of the ingredients to crock pot • Cook on low for 7 hours
Makes about 12 servings.
