How early is to early to test?
Hi all, I am new here...usually just read the posts on LIW....but am now actively ttc and need some help! I have a 2 year old daughter who was concieved by a wonderful oops...so this tracking temperature and using opk sticks is all new for me. Anyway I am due for my period on Monday 8/1 or Tuesday8/2. When can I test and what test should I use? Thanks for your help!

Re: How early is to early to test?
If you aren't on progesterone, there is no rush to test. So basically test, when you are late for AF....the more time that passes....before you get your BFP the better. Otherwise, you may have to go through the agony of a chemical pregnancy.
However, if you are soooooo eager :) .... you can test,...3-5 past implantation....so...usually about 10-12 dpo you may get a very faint line ...and a early bfp. Implantation occurs about 7 dpo...

I would wait as long as you can but you can test about 5 days before AF...you may get a BFN but really be PG and its just too early.
Welcome and good luck!!
ETA: We really are a sorry bunch as far as holding out from POAS...I always test a million times every month.
