I will not have one...I asked my doctor's office the last time I was there. They will only give one if they think there is a problem (?). I'm sad about it...

I know Im getting one @ 32 weeks...but thats to check to see if my placenta has moved...Im unsure if theres another after that...
I remember Stefanie having one right b4 Jared was born.. but Im not sure if it was routine..or just something extra...

I think it depends on the doctor.... I didn't have a scheduled one after the 20 week.
I ended up having one at 28 weeks bc of irregular heartheat so they did a fetal echo and 40 weeks bc someone rearended us so they wanted to check fluid and placenta.

With my son, I only had the two - the first one, which was around 8 weeks, and the 20 week one.

Same here. I am also getting an elective 29 week 4d Sonogram.

I was under the impression that you always had 3 -- 1st, 2nd and 3rd trimester!
In a way I feel kind of lucky. On my 20 week they weren't able to get some views of the baby at my dr's office because thier machines aren't the best, so they refered me to a perinatal place with AWESOME machines, and after over an hour they still couldn't get some views because of the baby's position, so I had to go back a week later! I had 3 sonos all within 3 weeks of eachother!
Now I have GD, unfortunately, but because of that I get to have sonos every 2-3 weeks to check the baby's size. It's unfortunate that I have GD, but I love the perk of extra sonos!

According to my Dr's office I wont have another unless it's necessary. I think each office is different so the best way to find out is ask your OB.
