Shorts with Boots
Are you feeling falls new look?
I saw this girl this morning at the bus stop. She was wearing short brown shorts with dark brown leather boots and a newsboy hat (I love the hat) but I'm really not feeling the look of shorts worn with boots. It just looks really tacky to me 
Does anyone else agree?

I can't really picture it...
although I did wear cowboy boots with denim shorts in highschool and when I look at pics it's not pretty.

I saw this chick last night at the mall wearing them with cowboy boots.
first of all, she was too thick to be wearing those and it's just too tacky IMO.

I like it on models, not in real life. You really have to be a stick figure to pull it off, and the shorts have to be dressy, otherwise it just looks trashy!! It's a very delicate look. One wrong move and it's a disaster.

Agreed. You need to have the exact right shorts and boots or it ends up looking cheap or trashy. I would never attempt it cause I know I can't pull it off!

I feel the same way.
Your right, I think if I were to see it on a model I would definitely have a different opinion. I guess the people I've been seeing this look on are not fit to be wearing it
I certainly can not see myself wearing it, it's just not me.

Someone else might be able to pull that off, but not me. I hate how I look in shorts - I stick with capris or skirts in the summer.
