DH had one- and OMG- it was painful- he is on so many pain meds to begin with and he was screaming- it had gotten infected- I took him to the ER- they had to drain it- I wanted to puke
but he is fine- it happened 3 weeks before our wedding and the joke was who needs marriage vows when you have been thru that
eta- I figured out the name of the cyst
they are not sure! they are going to do a colenoscopy (sp) i think tomorrow, and waiting on more blood work, he has a high fever and is in alot of pain so the not knowing is driving my sister and i crazy... he blood work showed it was a bacteria infection and a bad one at that so hopefully in the morning we will know more

I hope it's just one of these cyst- they are gross and painful- but not serious
I will be thinking on him- I know what Jake went thru and it wasn't easy

My DH had this too - twice! If that is what it really is - FM me and I will give you tons of info. The first time it was infected, they scheduled his surgery. Recently, it was infected again and they put him back into surgery the next day. NOT a fun condition, if that's what he has. Let us know!
