anyone ever been to
LONDON? dh and i are planning a trip with some friends in feb. does anyone have any tips on what to do or where to stay? we heard its a place you can go for a few days..we will go for 5 nights and 6 days.thanks for any info..

DH and I were there in November for our HM, I was also there a few years ago as well.
Lots to see and do. There's a post on the travel board with suggestions.

london is great
ive been twice - lots of great pubs and restauratns and historical things to see
you can pretty much have nothing planned, but walking around you will find things to do
my only must is westminster abbey
and greenwich london maritime museum- i thought that was really cool
you will have a blast no matter what you do
i do suggest flying virgin atlantic, and also suggest looking at tripadvisor.com for hotel recommendations and unbiased reviews

I have been to London on a business trip and stayed at the Radisson Edwardian Mountbatten hotel in Monmouth ,Covent Garden. I was there for 7 days. I dined at local restaurant, went to the movie theatre, and do a bit of shopping. Also went on a few sight seeing.
I agree with Melissa on flying Virgin Atlantic.

I have been there in February and it is very cold and rainy. Make sure you bring warm clothes!Make sure you visit the Tower of London, Picadilly and the Crown Jewels! There is so much to do, make sure you take advantage!
