How to get through this...
I feel like the worst person in the world right now.
MY bff is pg and finally about to give birth. I got thru the "guess what, I'm pg" phone call, the baby shower (which I hosted) and the many phone calls about gifts she received, color of the room, etc. I am TRULY TRULY happy for her, but I want this for me as well, as you all know. DH and I never expected to have issues, and I should say that she waited 7 years in between her first and this one (I'm thinking they had issues, but left it up to g0d).
It's to the point that I feel that I have to fake every happy emotion towards her, but I really am happy for her. It's just that when you want something for yourself and you see someone else with it, well, it just suxs sometimes, doesn't it????
 Like I said, I feel like a terrible person for even feeling like I can't truly be happy for her.

I just went through this in July. My really good friend gave birth on my birthday and it was so very hard. And then I miscarried a few weeks later! Talk about s u c k i n g! But, I pull myself up, visit the new baby, and then I cry and repeat! I don't have any other advice for you except that we are here for you!!!!!!!!!

I feel this way too. I've had to go through this several times in fact, with 2 different friends and my DH's ex wife, talk about annoying! But you can't let it get to you. You're not horrible to feel this way, in fact it's normal.
