Re: Kicking

I felt movement with this baby later than most ladies do..

I never felt flutters.. I started feeling "taps" (like someone flicking their finger inside my belly) around 20 wks..

actually kicks I started feelign right around where you are now , 24 wks.. and even then the kicking didn't get strong or more consistent until closer to 26 wks in my case

He made up for lost time though, because once the kicking started it never slowed down! Chat Icon

Re: Kicking

I *think* I felt flutters around week 15 or 16 or something. I felt them for about 3 weeks constantly! Then I didn't feel anything for about two weeks. At about 23 weeks I started to feel stronger movements. Don't worry...everyone is different. Chat Icon

Re: Kicking

My uterus is tipped backward and won't tip forward until the baby is bigger so I rarely feel kicks, even at 26 weeks, just taps and flutters still.

Re: Kicking

I'm pg with twins so it is a slightly different ballgame.

I started feeling kicks this week, week 12.

I didn't know that was what they were until I had my ultrasound and put the visual of one of the babies kicking (Twin A is my dancerChat Icon ) together with the feeling I had at the same moment.

If I can feel kicks this soon I might see a foot or a leg pop out of my mouth at 30 plus weeksChat Icon

Re: Kicking

With Nate, I felt flutters around 16 weeks and full kicks around 21 weeks.

This time around I felt flutters around 13 weeks. No kicks yet, but definitely the flutters are harder.

Re: Kicking

i think about 26-28 weeks i started feeling real 'kicks'. he was active every day up to his birth ... its defnitely a 'preview' of his personality ... my guy is soo active and outgoing! he was kicking his way out!

Re: Kicking

Most people feel flutters around 15-18 weeks or so....its really just the movement of the amniotic fluid in your belly.

The baby is too tiny for you to feel real movement from the baby that you would feel until at least 20 weeks , sometimes more.

So no one get down if you dont feel it, what women feel is often not a true kick.

When I was PG, I felt the baby kick at around 25-26 weeks.
