Invite to baby show??

I recieved an invite to a "getting ready for baby" show at the Westbury Holiday Inn on Saturday, Aug 6th and Sun Aug 7th. It is free and they say it should give info on cribs, bedding car seats, high chairs, safety info, recals, etc.

I was wondering if anyone else recieved this invite, and if they called the number to check it out or not. I'm wondering it it's just some stupid publicity thing or if it would be worthwhile.

I forgot what company does this...but, it's a scam. I read in the Baby Bargains book that they get you to the show and tell you all these horror stories about other brand name hichairs, strollers, etc, etc. and then they try to get you to buy their brand.

I was thinking that it might be something like that. I was surprised because there was no return address, no info on the company sponsoring it, nothing like that! I don't think I'll be going, that's for sure!
