need some prayers and hugs- UPDATE
Hi all. I never really ask, but I am really worried about my mom. She was suppose to take a plane to see me today, but after hours of delays they finally cancelled her flight. Her flight was suppose to leave LGA at 4:30. They cancelled at 10pm. There was a big storm that hit our area. Her cell phone died and neither my father nor I can get a hold of her. My father just arrived at the airport to see if he can get any info. Hopefully she will get home safe tonight and can come see us here in NC soon.
UPDATE: My father just found my mother at the airport. She had a nightmare. They had cancelled all flights down South, but made her wait on the runway for almost 7 hours. She was really upset and I feel just horrible about the whole thing. She rescheduled her flight for tomorrow afternoon. Please pray she gets here safely tomorrow. I hate that she is traveling by herself.

I realize the big storm must have come because I just cleaned all the leaves off of my back patio and cleaned my yard yesterday. EVERY time I clean the backyard a storm comes. I am not exaggerating. And I was just thinking yesterday about how it had been a few weeks since it rained and a big storm had passed.

Hi all. I just wanted to send a quick thank you for the prayers. My mom got here safely Friday late afternoon! It is so nice to have her here. She was exhausted from her disaster flight on Thursday, but Friday went a lot smoother. It wasn't a great plane experience for a first visit here, but seeing her grandson holding a sign for her when she got off the plane made it all better.
