When did your Pediatrician....
tell you that you were allowed to take them out in public places??
Mine said 3 months....is that normal??
I was allowed to take them for walks.
My friends said they took their babies out the following week...but I think I want them to have their shots first

He said 2 months. He also told us not to have people over unless the boys were behind a closed area. That didn't happen...we have just asked anyone with a cold to not come and see them until they feel better.
We are bringing them to my brothers this weekend and we have some plans with friends in teh coming weekends. I won't go to public places until 2 months (like malls, etc.)

My pediatrician never discussed it. Patrick had a schedule that I had to keep him on. So, they came with me.

i took my babies out when they were 2 months old..we used to go to early dinners before the crowds. I would go stir crazy in the house so i would wake up and go out..I still do.

He didn't say anything, at the NICU they said make sure everyone washes thier hands and use common sense.

Because our friends invited us over for dinner this weekend, and there will be 2 other couples.
I want to bring them, but DH said NO WAY!!!!!
They have a 5 year old that just started kindergarten, so he was afraid that she may bring home something

My ped said going to grandma's or friends houses was fine - just not to malls and restaurants until 2 months. She advised staying away from big groups of kids, but a few was fine.
