question about going off the pill
just read the post about some women getting pregnant immediately after going off the pill. how long did it take you to get your first period after going off the pill? it's been 37 days since my last period and i'm a little concerned. i'm just dreading that it won't show up and i'll have problems ttc in a few months.

well since i was one of the ones who got pregnant the 1st month off the pill, i never got my period. i know some doctors say to wait to ttc after you stop the pill, but we decided not to wait because i was afraid that it would take a long time to get my period or for my cycles to become regular. so we figured we'd just let whatever happens happen. is there any chance that you're pregnant? i just had a feeling that i might be pregnant so i tested right away, but since i had no idea when to expect AF to arrive i could have easily been still waiting for 37 days without having any idea that i was pregnant

It took me about 39 days to get my first period and 31 days to get the second....

my period came back just around the same time it would have on the pill.....and stayed pretty regular too.

It took 35 days for the first AF and 28 days for the next....I was regular before going on the pill as well

I was regular like clockwork before going on the pill (AF every 28 days, no joke) but the first two months off the pill were SO freakin' whacky! The first month AF didn't come until like day 45  but then the second month, AF came day 19!! Third cycle I got pregnant... point being, some woman go right back to normal, and others don't - give your body a few months to stabilize... 37 days your first cycle off the pill is totally normal

thanks ladies, i feel better now. day 39 & still waiting...
lily- i tested the other day just to be sure and got a BFN. i have to say, i was the slightest bit disappointed...

I was regular for one month after going off the pill, then things went wacky...
My next cycle was 59 days, then 48 days, then 43 days then 59 days, and so on...
Its been weird. But they say it can take up to a year to regulate (Dec will be a year for me). I started clomid this month to jump start things.
