Back From Caesars Cove Haven in the Poconos - Review

Ok Danielle and I are back from our long Weekend at Cove haven.

We left friday night at 7pm and made it to the resort at 10pm. Amazing enough on a holiday weekend and a friday night too that we didnt get caught in any mahor traffic.

We checked in and upgraded to a Juliet Suite for $20 extra a night. We got to our rooms, which were both next to each other. We went with another couple, to find they both had a really bad mildew odor to them. We couldnt figure out why it smelled so bad.

After that we went to get some drinks at the Club and watch the singer and the comedian play, then we went to the cafe to get some food.

After that we went back to the mildew room.

Our room consisted of a Living room area, the bedroom equiped with a round bed, and star gazing ceiling, and a bathroom with stand up shower, and heart shaped Jacuzzi. There was something wrong with the toilet bowl too. The room felt older, and yukky. We must of killed like 7 to 8 bugs that night.

The next day after breakfast in bed with mimosas....yummy....My friend and I went to the front desk to complain, and the clerk told us that she was shocked, and that it was unacceptable for us to have a room that had Mildew and MOLD. I forgot to mention that we found mold in both rooms on the dresser, and on the table. We all woke up feeling like we had congestion and a sore throat.

The woman told us to come back at 12, and that she would have oue new rooms ready.

Well at 12pm Andrew and I went to get our keys to our new rooms, which were all the way up the hill....So much walking at this place.

She gave us a big upgrade to the Cove Fantasy room, which is a $450 a night room. This room had the living room, round bed with star gazing ceiling, bathroom with standup shower, full heart shaped Jacuzzi, private swimmig pool, and a Sauna which didnt work. The room had new carpeting, and new drapery. It was very nice. The Air conditioning didnt really work very well though.

The weather was excellent. Sunny and warm. Right outside our rooms and all over the resort you could see Deer. They were everywhere.

Saturday after we got settled in our rooms, we went to the club for wings, nachos, and pizza. We saw the XXX show. It was sick. There are some sick people in this world. I cannot believe some of the things that were said at this show.

After that we walked through the woods, and then went up the ice skating rink, and played Ping Pong, Pool and video games.

After that we changed for dinner, and went to the show at the club. There was a ventriliquist there...He was very funny. The food was pretty good, and the drinks were very good too. Breakfast, and dinner is included with your room rate. You have to pay for drinks though.

The bed is round, but it is very comfortable.....I didnt think I was going to be able to sleep on it, but I did. The room was pitch black. We didnt know what time it was at all, even in the morning.

Sunday morning, we had breakfast in the dining room. It was a buffett and very good. Then we went to the lobby to see what there was to do in the area....We drove around for a while, and went to a pumpkin farm that had animals, fruit, flowers etc.....

After that we went to a huge flea market and bought stuff for the house. We also went to a Zoo and saw some crazy animals....Like Lions, tigers and Bears oh my...And a GIraffee.

We had dinner and played video games, and went to the club, to see a really funny comedian.

This morning we had breakfast and left.....Hit some traffic...It took us about 4 hours to get home and that was with stopping at MCdonalds in Jersey for lunch.

I would go back there....It wasa great place to get away to for a few days.
